Don't Rush - SUSU's New Housing Campaign
Andy Clarke, Danielle Eddington and Sam Eglington look into SUSU's Don't Rush campaign, which aims to stop students from being pressured into signing housing contracts.
After last year's 'Vent About Your Rent' survey, it was discovered that over 40% of all students felt pressured into signing a housing contract and that the majority of this pressure (64%) came from letting agencies.
They have designed six pledges that they hope that the letting agencies will sign so that the service provided to students is of a better quality.
