Sam Ling discusses Sabb involvement in the NUS campaign
Sam Ling tells Surge why Sabbs have a duty to be involved with the campaign, to not stay neutral and be motivated to voice their opinions, in order to encourage full debate amongst students.
He also responds to the Soton Tab's (http://sotontab.co.uk/opinion/2012/10/11/no-to-nus-doomed-from-the-start/) recent poll asking its readers whether it's fair for the Sabb team to get involved in the NUS debate. This was followed by a Wessex Scene article which further questioned if Sabbatical involvement in the NUS debate could draw the debate away from the issues at hand.
